Learning the creek and seasons

Cabbage Tree Creek changes with the light, rain and season. Some days it is clear enough to see every stone beneath the surface; after weather, it tells a different story.

The creek and the on-site taps are part of the same natural system. The water is not filtered or treated, so guests need to bring drinking water or treat it before consumption. Being open about that is part of helping people arrive prepared.

As we learn the property, we are also learning where to tread lightly, where guests can explore comfortably and how to keep the quiet character that drew us here in the first place.
