The growing farm

By August, the farm story had gained a little more hair and personality. Our Highland cattle became part of the everyday view—curious, photogenic and a very visible reminder that Riverdell is a working family property as well as a place to stay.

The animals are part of the experience, but their spaces still need to be respected. Guests should leave gates as they find them, use designated areas and announce themselves before entering farm buildings or another guest area.

There is plenty still to learn and build. For now, we are enjoying the quieter milestones: healthy animals in the paddock, children growing up around the work, and guests finding their own favourite corner of the property.
